Njoroge,Gicanga the Jubilee flag bearers in London,Hellsgate respectfully

Francis Njoroge alias Njosh is the Jubilee Party flag beater in the forthcoming London by-elections.

This after he emerged winner in the Saturday’s party primaries.

According to the final results, Njoroge got 868 votes against his close competitor Bernard Maina Kariuki alias Gatuso’s 692.

Other candidates Victor Kigen had 145 votes,Phoebe Wangui had 51 votes,John Ondari had 66 votes,Hellen njoki 8 and Erick Njuguna 3.

The London Ward seat fell vacant following the death of MCA Sammy Mbugua.

Njoroge will now face it out with other candidates in the by-elections scheduled for 4th March,2021.

Meanwhile Virginia Gicanga clinched the Jubilee ticket for the Hellsgate Ward.

The Hellsgate Ward seat fell vacant following the death of MCA John Njuguna.

UDA unveils candidates for Nakuru’s London, Hellsgate by-elections

United Democratic Alliance Party has unveiled candidates for the London and Hellsgate wards’ forthcoming by-elections.

UDA has settled for Jonathan Warothe as flag bearer for the Hellsgate Ward seat that fell vacant following the death of MCA John Njuguna.

The party has also handed nomination certificate to  Anthony Wachira Nzuki for the London Ward seat that fell vacant following the death of MCA Sammy Mbugua.

This is after the party came to consensus in a meeting attended by party officials led by Johnstone Muthama as well as other leaders associated with the party.

Muthama stated that the party has a national image as it has representation across the country.

He expressed optimism that UDA will carry the day in the forthcoming by-elections.

Sentiments echoed by Bahati MP Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri who is a close ally of DP William Ruto.

“I call upon all our supporters in Naivasha and Nakuru West constituencies to join efforts and ensure our candidates win in the upcoming by-elections” wrote Ngunjiri on his Facebook page.
