Arama retains Nakuru Town West Parliamentary seat

Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama of Jubilee Party has retained his seat.

Arama garnered 34,936 votes against his closest competitor Kamau Githengi of UDA who got 29,343 votes.

Speaking after he was handed the certificate by IEBC official, Arama thanked his competitors terming them worthy and for maintaining peace.

“I thank all my worthy competitors for the peaceful campaigns and political engagement” he stated.

Comparing his political journey with Biblical Samuel, the development agenda oriented MP said his focus in his third term will be to better the lives of Nakuru Town West residents.

Arama was elected on ODM ticket in 2013 before he was re-elected in 2017 on Jubilee party ticket-and now for his third term on Jubilee party ticket under Azimio-One Kenya Alliance.

Since he took over leadership of the Constituency that was split from the larger Nakuru Town Constituency, Arama has ensured development in infrastructure, education and security.
