Extensive damage as water tank collapses at Chicken Baristo

Fast food restaurant Chicken Baristo in Nakuru’s CBD is counting extensive damage after a rooftop water tank collapsed on Thursday morning.

Confirming the incident, the proprietor Bashir Abdulrahman said the incident happened when a tank on the roof collapsed.

He noted that no one was injured in the morning incident as the restaurant hall had no customers at the time of the incident.

“It’s a collapse of a water tank that was on the roof. No one was injured or harmed during the incident” said Bashir.

He was However quick to note that the damage is quite extensive and may take up to Friday to fix so that business resumes.

Chicken Baristo to open new branch in Nakuru

The new  branch which will be on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway  at Hass Petroleum Station  will  be a darling to many travellers who might need take aways as they proceed with their journey.

According to Chicken Baristo restaurant Proprietor Bashir Abdulrahman,they have considered ample parking space for customers.

He says the facility will be opened to customers in two weeks time.

“We have a new branch coming up and will be situated on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway” he said during an interview.

Currently,Nakuru Chicken Baristo restaurants are operating on take aways only as they are yet to get an okay as per the Ministry of Health guidelines to allow them operate as eatery facility due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Since its establishment in Nakuru, Chicken Baristo has been offering delicious meals, coffee, burger and pizza, full English breakfast, Baristo breakfast, Baristo cakes, Swahili breakfast, fruit salad, fresh juices, shake dates as well as shakes among the many varieties at an affordable price.

Nakuru’s Chicken Baristo Restaurant back to business after a month-long closure

Nakuru’s Chicken Baristo Restaurant has finally opened doors to members of the public after one month of closure.

The Chicken Baristo situated at the CBD just opposite Nakuru Sports club and adjacent to Gilanis Supermarket is a plus to the Nakuru residents as far as hospitality is concerned.

In a Saturday interview at the Restaurant, Chicken Baristo Proprietor Mr. Bashir Abdulrahman said they are back to business after the one Month closure.

He however says, they are yet to get an okay as per the Ministry of Health guidelines to allow them operate as eatery facility.

He is however quick to note that they are already observing the simple guidelines such as ensuring that there is sanitizing at the entrance as well as observing social distance.

“We are back to business even as we observe the Ministry of Health guidelines. We are however just doing take always as we await the clearance from the Ministry so that we can operate as eatery” he said.

The Chicken Baristo Proprietor also revealing that they are in the process of opening a new branch in Nakuru.

According to Bashir, the new Chicken Baristo will be on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway near the Platinum 7D club.

He says they have secured a better parking space for their customers who will be able to come in and have served their food of their choice.
