State of COVID-19 in Nakuru as at November 30

Nakuru county has recorded 3,935 confirmed COVID-19 cases as at November 30, 2020.

This is according to Nakuru County CECM for health Dr.Gichuki Kariuki.

In a statement to newsrooms on Monday,the CECM also revealed that 2,109 patients have recovered.

Unfortunately, 87 people have succumbed to the disease while  25 people are admitted to various isolation facilities.

Among them,15 are at the Nakuru PGH Isolation Centre, 3 in Langalanga, 1 in Valley hospital,1 in Nakuru War Memorial Hospital, 1 in Annex Hospital and 4 in Nakuru Nursing home.

Meanwhile,15 Patients are on supplemental oxygen (11 confirmed and 4 suspected) while 2 patients are in ICU.

Homebased care for patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 is ongoing.

Out of the 3,935 confirmed, cases, 2,033 have undergone homebased care. 1,672 have recovered while 361 are still under care.

The County Government has called on residents to  continue  adhering to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.
