Shock as police impound illicit brew hidden near a Nakuru church

Police have sounded stern warning to illicit brewers in Flamingo and Kivumbini wards in Nakuru East that their days are numbered.

Speaking over the weekend during an operation against illicit brew in the area in which 3 people were arrested, Nakuru East Administration police boss Barnabas Kimutai said police are on alert and will not allow the society to be messed up by a few individuals.

While commending the public for the tip off, the officer said they impounded 820 litres of Kangara at Ms Jane Kiarie’s home.

He added that the illicit brew impounded was found hidden near a church in the area.

He called on the public to continue working closely with the police in ensuring that ills in the society are eliminated.
