Nakuru-based philanthropist Rani Ramchandani has received Honorary Degree from Open Christian University (OCU) USA Carlifonia.

The Degree was awarded to Ramchandani for her unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and social advancement exemplifying selfless leadership.
“The University proudly awards you the Doctor of Humanities (DHum) in recognition of your outstanding impact within humanitarian and societal development spheres,” reads statement from the University.

Open Christian University is an online University offering that awards Honorary to distinguished in the community.
Persons who have done concrete work in government or society are highly recognized by OCU through Awards.
The institution offers courses in Diploma, Degree, Masters and Phd .
The Awarding ceremony for Dr. Rani Ramchandani and others took place in Kisii at Zakystar Impact Bible Training College which acknowledges men and women whose lives embody the ideals of scholarships, integrity and service to humanity.
Zakystar Impact Bible Training College also offers artisan courses through the Technical and Vocational Education Training(TVET).

It should be noted that Dr. Rani Ramchandani has become a household name in Nakuru County and several other counties in Kenya owing to her philanthropic work touching on the needy in society among them persons living with disability (PWDs).
