Persons Living with Disability in Bungoma County have benefited with mobility devices.
The items were donated by Rani Ramchandani Foundation in partnership with other well wishers among them Rotary Club of Prague International and Lions Club of Menengai.
Speaking during the event in Bungoma where they were hosted by Rotary club of Bungoma Magharibi, Rani Ramchandani who is the CEO of Rani Ramchandani Foundation stated that through partnership they have beeble to reach more PWDs with assistance.
She noted that this is the only way to make a better society by ensuring everyone has a reason to smile.
“It is never too late to be kind, polite, and a loving human being. We will continue to reach out to more whenever we are in a position to do so,” stated Rani.
Bungoma County Police Commander Francis Kooli who is also a member of the Foundation lauded the well wishers for the support to PWDs.
The officer urged PWDs to ensure they enroll with Government so that they can be assisted through various Government initiatives.
He also warned beneficiaries of the mobility assistance devices not to sell.
“These are donated to help your movement. Let no one sell them,” he warned.
