President William Ruto has assured Kenyans that there will be no fee charged on National Identification card issuance.
The Head of State who was at Kiratina in Nakuru Town East Constituency for projects’ launch maintained that no Kenyan will be charged to replace a lost ID.
He at the same assured that all those seeking National IDs will pay zero few for the same.
President Ruto maintained that this is the only way to ensure every Kenyan gets the document that is key towards participation in democratic process of elections.
The President who was accompanied by DP Kithure Kindiki, CS Opiyo Wandayi, Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, MPs and MCAs among others stated that Kenya is headed in the right direction in terms of development adding that no Kenyan will be left behind.
While highlighting key projects being implemented in Nakuru county among them the affordable housing, the President called on youth to grab the opportunities that come along with the same.
He noted that the affordable housing projects provides numerous opportunities for youth who have skills in various technical fields.
The Head of state also used the moment to urge Kenyans who are yet to register for SHA to do so.
This, he said will help ensure quality service delivery in various health facilities.
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, and Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria lauded the President for the transformation agenda he has for the people of Nakuru.
The duo vowed to work closely with National Government towards the same.
President Ruto has been in Nakuru on three day development tour launching various projects.
He will conclude in Gilgil where he will issue title deeds to various schemes as well launch various roads projects.
