President Kenyatta leads Jamhuri fete with a stern warning to corrupt cartels

President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again reiterated that his government will not tolerate corrupt public servants.

Speaking during the 55th Jamhuri Day celebrations at the Nyayo National Stadium, the head of state called on Kenyans to report any corrupt public servants to the relevant authorities among them Directorate of criminal Investigations, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission as well as the media for action.

“Those who use the public offices to harass Kenyans and know that the anti-corruption broom sweeping across Kenya will reach out to your door. I call on Kenyans to report any public officials who demand bribe to DCI and if no action shall be taken report to EACC,if no action shall be taken report even to the media” said President Kenyatta.

President Uhuru Kenyatta who surprised Kenyans when he arrived for this year’s Jamhuri Day celebrations at the Nyayo National Stadium, donning the full Commander-In-Chief ceremonial regalia stated that he has set the Big 4 agenda and urged all leaders and Kenyans to support him achieve the same making Kenya a better nation.

The commander in chief took the better part of his speech highlighting and elaborating on the achievements the nation has gone through incorporating the Big 4 agenda of his administration.

While noting that the Big 4 agenda were paramount for the growth of the nation, he said the same can only be achieved if there is security.

It is for this reason that he lauded the Kenya Defense Forces and the security agents for the great work the men and women have continued to do to ensure that Kenya is secure.

He also saluted the fallen soldiers who died while in line of duty calling on Kenyans to remain vigilant and report any scheme of the enemy.

Once again he reiterated that reiterated that Kenya remains part of the AMISOM in ensuring civilized Somalia and as well as peace and tranquility in other neighboring nations.

“The big 4 agenda can only be achieved if we are secure as a nation. I call on every Kenyan to remain vigilant and ensure that our youths are not kidnapped by the terror groups” said President Kenyatta.
