A middle aged man from Solai village in Rongai Sub County in Nakuru who is suspected to be an illicit brewer in the area is now counting losses after officers from Solai Police station stormed his house destroying his properties.

Julius Tuitoek says the police stormed his house over unknown reasons.

He says the officers destroyed almost everything they found in his house.

While terming the act as inhuman,Tuitoek says they  could have summoned him if he had done anything wrong.

“The officers could have just summoned me if at all I had done wrong instead of destroying my property” he said.

However,Rongai sub County Police Commander Richard Rotich has refuted Tuitoek’s claims.

According  to the officer, police were on a mission to arrest him but he turned violent causing the commotion that left several police officers with injuries.

Rotich has said that they are still hunting Tuitoek to make arrest over his illicit brewing business.
