Police have launched investigations into murder incident that happened at Harambee Khalsa Comprehensive School in Nakuru East Sub county of Nakuru County.
Parents at the school woke up to the shocking news on Thursday morning indicating that the night guard at the school was found murdered and his body dumped into one of the classrooms.
The incident saw the management take a wise decision to send learners home and the school shut indefinitely.
Parents who later stormed the school demanded to know what had transpired even as Police and officers from the DCI arrived at the school marking it a crime scene, before the body was removed and taken to the mortury.
Addressing press at the school, the Board of Management led by chair Harry Douglas called for calm as investigation into the incident takes on.
He revealed that the offices at the school were also broken into during the shocking incident.
According to the School Board of Management, the incident is shocking, and called for thorough investigations that will see the culprits apprehended.
On their part Parents at the school wondered why such an incident can take place despite the school bordering Kasarani Police Post that also houses police officers.
They called on government to ensure installations of CCTV cameras in all schools to avert similar incidents.
