Kenyans have once again been united via former Vice President Moody Awori’s visit to Opoda Farm in Siaya County.
The former VP is reported to have visited Kang’o Ka Jaramogi to pay last respect to late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Awori later visited Opoda Farm to condole with family of Rail Odinga.
Best known as Uncle Moody Awori, now 97, visited Opoda Farm, where he met Mama Ida Odinga and conveyed his heartfelt condolences.
Still remarkably strong and razor sharp-minded, he spoke fondly of the late Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, describing him as a man who never held grudges.
His visit has seen Kenyans to to social media platforms to remember Moody Awori’s times as Vice President serving under the late President MWAI Kibaki.
Awori has maintained low profile since he left office, perhaps the reason why Kenyans were surprised at his resurfacing.
