All roads lead to Olenguruone stadium this Monday October 13, 2025 for the groundbreaking ceremony to pave way for the construction of the sporting facility.
A public notice indicates that, “The County Government of Nakuru is pleased to announce the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Construction of Olenguruone Stadium.”
This is a flagship project aimed at promoting sports, nurturing talent, and empowering youth across the county.
According to the notice, the ceremony will be presided over by Governor Susan Kihika , wand Hon. Soipan Tuya EGH Cabinet Secretary for Defence, as the Special Guest.
Governor Kihika notes that this marks a major milestone in the County’s ongoing investment in sports infrastructure, creating new opportunities for athletes, local youth, and the community at large.
The modern stadium will provide a platform for talent development, recreation, and economic growth in Kuresoi South and beyond.
