Nakuru County ODM Party Chairperson Peter Ole Sono has once again slammed at the Majority Leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale for what Sono says is tarnishing the name of Opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking over the weekend at Mazembe grounds in Nakuru West during the launch of Eric Ogada’s bid for Nakuru West Parliamentary seat, Ole Sono said Duale has no experience in politics and should therefore respect the opposition leader.
“Even in Garisa we have NASA fully yet the area MP is busy going around tarnishing the name of Raila yet Duale himself has no experience in politics. He should respect Raila when it comes to matters of politics” Sono said.
The ODM Nakuru County Chair also took an issue with the Deputy President William Ruto whom he termed as one who has no respect for those who helped in shaping his political agenda.
Sono noted that the DP was molded by Retired President Daniel Arap but as things turn out Ruto has shown some disrespect to the Moi Family.
On his part Erick Ogada who officially launched his bid for the Nakuru West Parliamentary seat called on the Government of the day to address the many challenges facing Kenyans.
He said it was worrying to see Doctors, Lecturers on strike as well as Drought hitting more than 23 counties yet the Government was reluctant to take action.
“The Government of the day must address the challenges facing Kenyans. We have strikes all over and then we have the drought issue. These are the emergency issues” he said.
The function was also attended by various Nakuru West ODM aspirants.
