Sombre mood engulfed Moricho village , Visoi Ward in Rongai Subcounty of Nakuru county on Saturday as officer Kennedy Towett was laid to rest.
Until his death, Towett was serving at Bondeni Police station in Nakuru East Subcounty.
Those who spoke during the burial eulogized the late officer as as a loving husband, devoted father, and committed Christian.
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika was represented by Chief Officer for ICT, e-Government and Public Communication, Joseph Kibusya.
On behalf of the Governor, Kibusya conveyed condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues, praising the officer’s dedicated service to Nakuru and the nation.
He said Towett’s legacy of integrity, commitment, and faith would remain an inspiration to many in public service and beyond.
