Likoni Member of Parliament Mishi Mboko is set to replace her Malindi counterpart Aisha Jumwa as a representative of the Orange Democratic Party (ODM ) in the powerful parliamentary service commission.
The firebrand Jumwa seemed to be loosing the fight to stay in the PSC after the NASA coalition parliamentary group meeting resolved to have her replaced.
In what seemed as taking cue from the jubilee party, ODM moved to crack the whip on errand members perceived to be sympathetic to Deputy President William Ruto.
Jumwa a self declared campaigner and defender of the DP survived the first attempt to remove her from the PSC after the jubilee party came to her hide.
But with the ongoing realignments she might not have much to hang on going by the close working relationship being displayed by both jubilee and ODM.
Others who were punished alongside Jumwa include MPs’ Badi Twalib , Slyanus Osoro,Tindi Mwale, Paul Katana,Gideon Ochanda, Chris Wamalwa,Catherine Wambilianga and David Ochieng.
The de-whipped members are expected to stay out of house committees for six months after which the decision will be reviewed by the coalition.
Already the Musalia Mudavadi led ANC party has disagreed with the changes after its member Tindi Mwale fell victim to the house cleaning.
The changes were made at a NASA parliamentary group meeting attended by 108 members out of the total 135 NASA members.
