Nakuru Governor Susan and has vowed to ensure that no child misses school due to lack of school fees.
Speaking at Nyayo Gardens on Tuesday January 16, 2024 during the launch of county bursary worth Sh 342 million, the county boss noted that Education remains her key agenda in transformation of society.
She added that her administration is committed to ensure no Education for all.
“We have a commitment to ensure even the most needy students from Nakuru County have access to education. Under my leadership no child should miss school due to lack of fees,” she stated.
The launch of the bursary paves way for the disbursement to the Ward level.
Governor Kihika announced that she will be in the next one week visit various Wards to witness the disbursement.
“It has been a great day as we kicked off the disbursement of a record Kshs. 342 million worth of bursary across Nakuru County,” she said.
The event was also graced by MPs Samuel Arama (Nakuru Town West), Irene Njoki(Bahati) and MCAs led by Majority leader Alex Lang’at among other guests.
