No case of malpractices reported in Nakuru in ongoing KCSE-Education PS

No single case of malpractices has been reported in the ongoing Kenya Certificate of secondary Examination in Nakuru county.

Principal Secretary  State Department of University Education and Research Amb.Simon Nabukwesi resales the same on Monday when he was in Nakuru to oversee the distribution of the examination materials.

The PS lauded Education officers,teachers and security team for ensuring smooth run of the examination.

While noting that no single case of malpractices has been reported in the region, Nabukwesi said this is the way to go in ensuring fairness and integrity values among students for  a better future.

“I must laud the education officers and the security team for ensuring no malpractices in Nakuru.We want to ensure fairness and integrity.This we teach our children to be great leaders based on national values” said Nabukwesi.

When the exams commenced, Education Cabinet Secretary Prof.George Magoha warned schools in Homa Bay,Migori,Kisii,and Isebania against malpractices.

This even as 30 schools were put on the government’s radar for planning to cheat in KCSE.

“Our monitors are vigilant.Any centre found to engage in unethical practices will face stern action” said Magoha.
