Njoro youthful politician Kibet Kirui has send a strong message to leaders who were elected in 2022 but have failed to deliver.
Addressing residents in Nessuit Ward during a peace football tournament, Kirui stated that there has been a tendency in this country where leaders are elected and Gail to deliver on their promises.
He added that leadership is all about transforming the livelihoods of the people.
According to Kirui, it does not make sense for leaders to have five or more years in office, but fail to deliver.
He at the same time told off elected leaders among them members of Parliament to stop peddling lies and face the wrath of the people on ballot come 2027.
Kirui urged electorates to make the right decision come 2027.
“You cannot be elected, fail to deliver to the people and then come with lies during the next campaign period. That one the people will not accept,” stated Kirui.
The youthful opinion leaders and businessman also used the moment to rally young people to register in large numbers as voters.
This, he said is the only way that guarantee them participation in the electoral process.
It should be noted that Kirui has sponsored the Njoro Peace Tournament that brings together several teams from all the Wards and grand finale will be in December 14, 2025 at Teret Imarisha Stadium in Njoro.
