Njoro MP Charity Kathambi has lauded partners who go extra mile in ensuring tremendous work in education sector.
While noting that government has done tremendous work in education sector, the Lawmaker was quick to point out that the support from donors and partners cannot be ignored either.

Kathambi was speaking on Thursday during the commissioning of Amani Primary and Junior School in Nessuit Ward, Njoro Subcounty.
“We have given education priority in Njoro through the various transformation projects in our schools. But we want also to laud our partners here for the support in the sector in ensuring a better environment for our learners,” stated Kathambi.
Noting that Nessuit has had conflicts in the past years, Kathambi said the school is key in instilling cohesive aspects in learners and moulding them in citizens who embrace peace and cohesiveness.
The Lawmaker urged the communities in Nessuit and Njoro as a whole to continue living peace and unity.
“We are a peace loving people and we agreed never to go back. Institutions like schools help us alot,” she said.
Amani Primary and Junior School is supported by Village Impact in partnership with VICDA.
Through the partnership, the school has benefited with new ECDE, Primary, and Junior Secondary School classrooms.
This will go a long way in easing congestion and providing a more conducive learning environment for children in the area.

During the event, the donor team commended the County Government for aligning with their mission to uplift rural education.
They specifically praised the Lishe na Mama Uji Program, a flagship initiative by Governor Susan Kihika, for boosting pupil attendance, and lauded the recent employment of ECDE teachers, noting that such bold actions give life and purpose to the infrastructure they have invested in.
The County also undertook the repair of the access road leading to the school, a critical step in ensuring learners, teachers, and the surrounding community can safely and easily reach the facility.

Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika was represented by Chief Officer for Public Participation and Citizen Engagement Edward Gitau.
The event was also graced by MCA Samuel Tonui, and Ward Admin Rashid Juma, who joined the community in celebrating this significant milestone in the education sector.
