Njoro family living in fear over ‘death threats’

A middle aged businessman in Njoro town is living in fear following death threats believed to be from goons hired by his rival business person within Njoro sub county.

Edward Njenga Mbugua a father of two started receiving the messages and phone calls from unknown people who later attempted to break into his home within Njoro but their attempts was halted by Police who recovered a phone that contains multiple logistics of how they could have killed him.

The phone which is currently in Njoro Police DCI offices has so far revealed that the said business woman who is Njenga’s rival was masterminding his killing which was frustrated by quick response from police.

The family of Njenga is now living in fear after the same gang that was arrested and released through a court bond started sending threats messages.

The incident has left his mother in fear of losing a second son through immature killings since she lost her first born son five years ago through the same way that his last born is being targeted with.

The family is now calling upon the DCI to act swiftly and use the already provided information in tracking the businesswoman who has already fled the area.
