The face-lift for Mikeu Primary School in Dundori Bahati Constituency is quickly taking shape.
The work is courtesy of Bahati MP Irene Njoki who is also the patron Bahati NG-CDF.
Speaking on Wednesday evening when she visited to inspect the ongoing construction work at the school, the MP revealed that this is in line with her transformative agenda in the Education sector.
“This evening, I made an impromptu site visit to Mikeu Primary School in Dunduri Ward to inspect my ongoing initiatives for educational infrastructure enhancement at the school,” she stated.
The school will have a six-classroom storey building that will accommodate more students.
In addition, a modern recreational facility will be set up.
The facility will have a football pitch, basketball court and a volleyball pitch.
“We’re currently constructing a six-classroom storey building to accommodate more students as well as development of a modern recreational facility that will comprise of a football pitch, basketball court, and volleyball pitch,” revealed MP Njoki.
She added that once complete, the transformation at Mikeu Primary School will serve as a model for her vision to uplift educational institutions across Bahati Constituency.
According to the lawmaker, this will be replicated in other schools, fostering an environment conducive to effective learning and community engagement.
The first term serving MP in Parliament believes in education for all towards transformation of society.
