Nakuru’s nominated MCA who has become a darling and inspiration to youth

Nakuru UDA’ Nominated MCA Hassan Duale has become the darling and inspiration to many young people in Nakuru.

When you meet him at the county Assembly of Nakuru, you might think his journey has been smooth, but that is not so.

MCA Duale has proven that political loyalty is key in the journey of politics.

Though not elected, he has tried severally, but not until his dream came true in 2022 when he supported Governor Susan Kihika and President William Ruto’s agenda.

This saw him get nominated by United Democratic Party to the county Assembly of Nakuru.

As a youthful leader, Duale has proven that young people can also rise to various positions be it in the county Assemblies of even National Parliament.

Despite being from a minority community  in Nakuru, the youthful MCA has proven that no matter where you come from as Lupita Nyong’o once stated, your dreams are valid.

He has continued to nurture young people to through various charity works and sporting activities as well as empowerment programs.

Kenya Young Members of County Assemblies (KYMCA) is a platform that Duale has at heart.

In collaboration with youthful leaders across the South Rift region, they  spearheaded the ambitious initiative aimed at nurturing the next generation of political leaders.

The initiative ‘Youth Bunge’ is a mock parliamentary session tailored for young people.

It took place on May 12 in Nakuru County bringing together youth leaders from Narok, Kajiado, Bomet, Kericho, Nakuru, Laikipia, Samburu, and Baringo counties.

In an interview, Duale expressed his excitement about hosting the event in Nakuru.

He noted that he is proud as it was the first time the county hosted such a youth-led parliamentary simulation.

During the meeting, leaders of the forum were elected.

In an interview, Duale challenged young people to remain focused, adding that in politics you have to and go for that which you believe in.

He maintained that his loyalty is with Governor Susan Kihika and President William Ruto.

“I have come from far but one thing is clear loyalty remains paramount in politics,” stated Duale.

Though he has not declared which seat he will be contesting for come 2027, famous Nakuru.co.ke believes the youthful MCA will be going for an elective seat.
