Nakuru County Woman Rep aspirant Asumpta Wangui has maintained that 2027 politics will be about ‘ua nyoka na mayai yake’.
Speaking when she graced rite of passage ceremony at Gracious Schools Grounds in Kiamunyeki, Lanet Umoja Ward, Asumpta was categorical that Kenyans are tired with politics of deception and time is now to make change.
She urged residents of Nakuru to ensure they register as voters and make the right decision on ballot.
“Tunasema 2027 ni kuua nyoka na mayai yake. It is one term,” she stated.
During the event, Asumpta joined families and residents in Lanet Umoja for the graduation ceremony of boys transitioning into responsible young men after the circumcision program.
She lauded the host Lawrence Karani for the gesture to the boys and his dedication to serving the community.
“This celebration marks an important cultural and mentorship milestone, and I am proud to stand with parents and the entire community as we continue nurturing disciplined, confident, and principled young men,” she said.
She also used the moment to reiterate her commitment to youth empowerment, family values, and building a stronger, united Nakuru County.
The event was also graced by DCP brigade led by Nakuru County Secretary General Simon Sangale Ole.
Nasieku used the moment to rally Lanet Umoja residents to support Karani in his ambition to transform the society.
He at the same time drummed support for DCP and party leaders Rigathi Gachagua.
