Nakuru Accountability Forum has lauded Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama over development record.
Chairman Simon Ole Nasieku while terming the Legislator as development-focused, challenged Nakuru Legislators to emulate Arama on matters development and service delivery.
In an interview with this writer, Nasieku pointed out various infrastructural projects initiated in Nakuru West under the leadership of Arama.
Nasieku says leaders should follow suit and lobby for development projects from National Government as well as partners.
“Arama has shown the true leadership and that why we challenge other MPs in Nakuru to emulate him on matters Service delivery” said Nasieku.
The Nakuru Town West Legislator has been praised by his constituents for lobbying for several projects.
Key among them are roads and drainage World Bank-funded projects in areas such as London and Kaptembwa.
Currently ,the MP has lobbied for upgrade of feeder roads in Mwariki to bitumen standard.
According to Arama,the project worth sh 560 million will go a long way in addressing the challenges of drainage and transport in the slum area.
