Nakuru Town East Parliamentary seat aspirant Maina Wakabura has vowed to support youth within the transport sectir.
He was speaking when he engaged a youthful generation of leaders who are among the stakeholders in the matatu industry well known as KAMAGERA from the different stages in Nakuru Town.
He termed the youth as key stakeholders in driving the economy.
It should be noted that KAMAGERA’S are the link between the customers and the matatu saccos playing key role in helping the travellers identify and choose the matatu to travel with in their journey.
They also help the Matatu Saccos gain customers.
It should be noted that Wakabura helped the group register and they now get benefits as any other youth group.
Addressing the members, Wakabura urged the group to remain focused as he plans to enroll the members in different courses to gain skills that will help them earn more income in their lives.
Wakabura also assured the Kamageras to walk with them in their journey towards making sure 2 or 3 youths in the group are supported economically to be self employed.
