Police officers in Nakuru are once again on the spot for using excessive force during the enforcement of the dusk to dawn curfew.
Several cases have been reported of police officers being brutal to the innocent Kenyans while enforcing the curfew.
Many locals in Nakuru have been left nursing serious injuries from the police brutality since the enforcement of the curfew commenced.
The recent cases in Nakuru on Wednesday have left three men nursing serious injuries at the Nakuru Level 5 hospital.
Two of them have broken limbs while the other person was serious injured leading to massive bleeding following head injuries.
A gentleman from Mauche, Njoro Sub County is said to have been attacked by police 15 minutes to 7 pm on Wednesday while on his way home.
He is now fighting for his life at the Nakuru Level 5 hospital with broken limbs.
The Hospital administration has confirmed the incident adding that the man was injured by6 the police officers.
This coming just a day after a Tuk Tuk operator in Nakuru town was also injured by the officers while he had just dropped a patient at the Nakuru Level 5 hospital.
The emotional Francis Karanja says the officers had caused a lot of injuries on his head and also broke his limbs.
“I had gone to PGH to take the patient to the hospital after coming back I met officers near gilanis and they started beating me up” he said.
The incidents happening despite the President having apologized to Kenyans ove the police brutality.
The locals are now living in fear that if this is not addressed then the police officers will continue to injure innocent Kenyans.
