An unknown middle aged person sustained serious injuries after a train overrun him and crushed both legs near section 58 in Nakuru town.
Confirming the incident, Nakuru railways OCPD Said Shungi the man who is suspected to be the street urchin could have been lying there with a suicide attempt.
He said that he was immediately picked by police officers and taken to Nakuru PGH hospital but he remained unconscious at the time of admission.
“His identity is yet to be known, as he had no documentation or identification documents but we suspect he is one of these street urchins”, he said.
Some of the eye witnesses said that the person could have been under an influence of drugs to have failed to hear the oncoming train.
