Nakuru Jubilee Party Branch Secretary-General Mtumishi Cheruiyot has come out in defence of Vice Chair David Murathe over corruption allegations.
In a statement to newsrooms on Wednesday,the Nakuru Jubilee Party SG has pointed an accusing finger at Jubilee Party members allied to Tangatanga wing.
Mtumishi has sent a stern warning to Tangatanga brigade accusing them of trying to stage a coup in the Jubilee Party.
“Tangatanga brigade after failing to stage acoup in the Jubilee Party have trained their guns in individuals. The corruption allegations against our undisputed vice chairman David murathe is orchestrated by a section allied to Deputy President William Ruto” he said.
Mtumishi says Kenyans are aware of Lords of corruption.
According to Mtumishi Cheruiyot,” it’s not list to Kenyans that there are leaders in this country whose second names is *graft*. They will resort to anything to malign others to balance off their stinking graft allegations”.
Meanwhile,he has affirmed that Jubilee Nakuru Branch supports the process of audit to identify those involved in the embezzlement of the taxpayer’s money.
Cheruiyot adds that those found culpable must be arraigned in court and charged according to the law.
Already,the President has ordered the DPP and EACC to carry out an investigation.
Cheruiyot says, “As we wait for the conclusion the noise markers aligned to the DP should spear us the hubris and know that they owe Kenya explanation for the alleged graft allegations against some of them, including NYS I, Itare Dam, Kenya Pipeline saga, Kplc scandal, Arror & Kimwarer Dam. They are the least to advice us on the matters corruption after blundering this country”.
