Nakuru County top security meeting held to address rising issues

Nakuru top security meeting was held on Thursday January 26, 2026.

This amidst rising insecurity in various eststes among them Rhonda where a mechanic was recently stabbed and died.

The Thursday security meeting was chaired by Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika.

It brought together the National Government County Security Team led by County Commissioner, Dr Loyford Kibaara and a team from the County Executive.

“We deliberated on the security situation in Nakuru City, especially in the CBD, the business environment and the need to ensure Nakuru City is guided by law and order,” stated Governor Kihika.

The Governor reiterated that her administration will continue to work together–both the County Government and the National Government security for a secure, vibrant and orderly city.
