Nakuru County and AAR Healthcare join hands to improve healthcare services

The County Government of Nakuru and AAR Healthcare have announced a partnership to enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare services in the county.

The partnership was initiated after a meeting between the County Executive Committee for Health Services, Roselyn Mungai, and the Regional Manager of AAR Healthcare, Dr. Mercy Bob, where they discussed various ways to collaborate and address the growing healthcare needs of the county.

“We are delighted to partner with AAR Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services in the region, to improve the health and well-being of our people,” said Roselyn Mungai. “We believe that by working together, we can leverage our respective strengths and resources to offer more comprehensive and affordable healthcare services to our residents.”

Dr. Mercy Bob expressed her eagerness to work with the County Government, saying that AAR Healthcare was committed to supporting the county’s vision of achieving universal health coverage. “We are ready to share our expertise and technology with the County Government, and to collaborate on various initiatives such as community outreaches and medical camps, to ensure that everyone in Nakuru County has access to quality healthcare services,” she said.

The partnership, which is based on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, aims to achieve several benefits for the county. First, it seeks to increase the availability and accessibility of healthcare services, especially in remote and underserved areas, by utilizing the existing infrastructure and personnel of both partners. Second, it strives to improve the quality and standards of healthcare services, by incorporating the best practices and innovations of AAR Healthcare, and by ensuring the continuous training and supervision of the healthcare workers. Third, it hopes to promote health education and awareness among the population, by conducting regular outreaches and camps, and by encouraging preventive and healthy behaviors.

The partnership between the County Government and AAR Healthcare is a significant step towards improving the healthcare delivery system in Nakuru County. By combining their efforts and resources, both partners are determined to ensure that every resident of the county enjoys optimal health and wellness, and contributes to the social and economic development of the county.
