
Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki has reiterated her commitment towards supporting education and skill development in her constituency.
Speaking at Kiamaina on January 25, 2024 during issuance of bursary cheques worth Sh 21 million, the Lawmaker noted that education is key I transforming society.
She urged learners who have benefited from Bahati NG-CDF bursary to use the opportunity and work hard in their studies for a better future.
“I am committed towards supporting education in Bahati and that is why we are issuing these bursary on time so that our learners can get to schools and study,” she stated.
The funds were disbursed to all successful Form One bursary applicants who diligently completed and returned their bursary application forms.
Additionally, the beneficiaries also included students enrolled in local three technical and vocational colleges.
Earlier in the day, the first term serving MP in Parliament handed over a brand new school bus to Kiamaina Secondary in line with a promise she had made to the school following good performance.
