Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ng’eno will today know his bail terms.
The MP who was arrested on Monday was arraigned on Tuesday in a Nakuru Court but denied hate speech charges over remarks he made on President Uhuru Kenyatta and Mau Forest.
Nakuru Chief Magistrate Elizabeth Osui in her Tuesday ruling directed that the MP remains in police custody until September 10(Today) when a ruling on bail terms will be made.
He was arrested on Monday evening at his Mogondo in Transamara for making the utterances perceived to stir ethnic tensions.
The Director of Public Prosecution while authorizing his prosecution said the MP’s utterances were “threatening, abusive and insulting”.
