Nakuru Woman MP Liza Chelule has called for concerted effort and unity among leaders in addressing matters environment conservation.
Chelule revealed that before she was elected, she was already taking part in various environmental conservation initiatives.
She added that there is need for unity among leaders towards similar noble initiatives that aims to make earth better by protecting natural resources.
The Lawmaker spoke on October 1, 2025 when she joined PS Eng Festus Ng’eno, Governor Susan Kihika and other leaders during the launch of the first edition of Mau Conservation Marathon that will take place in Kuresoi on October 24.
“We all need to work together as leaders towards achieving a common gall especially on such issues of environment conservation.
During the event, Chelule announced that she will be sponsoring 30 participants in the marathon.
The Lawmaker also used the opportunity to air her concerns over rising cases of gender based violence.
She called for a collective approach in addressing the same.
