MP Kathambi’s good development record to play key role in her re-election

Njoro Member of Parliament Charity Kathambi is banking on her clean development track record for her re-election in 2027.

She was elected for the first time in 2017 when she defeated her male counterparts.

Immediately she assumed office, Kathambi commenced her development with focus on transforming Njoro.

Her great development agenda in matters education, water, infrastructure and education as well as security matters, saw her re-elected in 2022 on UDA ticket, a party that also produced President William Ruto.

Kathambi just like a mother who understands the needs of her children, has continued to be darling to the people of Njoro addressing their challenges one after the other.

She believes leadership is all about addressing the challenges facing citizens and making a better society.

According to her, the two terms that she has served as MP, Njoro Constituency has really transformed as compared to the former regimes of male leadership.

Various projects have been initiated in education sector, roads and infrastructure, Electricity connectivity and improved security through construction of police and Administrators’ offices.

She has on many occasions called out individuals out to mess the peace being witnessed in Njoro.

She allows positive criticism towards shaping leadership but slams those who criticize without facts to back their criticism.

A great supporter of President William Ruto’s transformative agenda in the country, Kathambi has always urged residents to support government of the day.

And as the clock tickles towards 2027 general elections, Kathambi has declared that she will be going for third term to continue serving the people of Njoro.

Her win will see her go into history as the he first female MP for Njoro who served three consecutive terms.
