Njoro Member of Parliament Charity Kathambi has called for concerted effort in ending Gender Based Violence in society.
The MP says GBV continues to derail society’s moral fabric.
She was speaking on Wednesday when she hosted the Intergenerational Dialogue on the campaign against GBV by Mzalendo Trust.
The meeting saw discussions on various aspects and forms of GBV.
Kathambi challenged young people in Njoro to take lead in advocacy against GBV.
According to Kathambi, the function was also a platform for sensitization of community gatekeepers and opinion leaders on ending new HIV infections, adolescent pregnancies, and Gender Based violence (GBV)
The event was held at Davison comprehensive school ground, Kihingo ward.
