MP Kathambi makes appeal to government over Tipis titling

Njoro Member of Parliament Charity Kathambi on Sunday made an appeal to Government over Tipis titling.

Kathambi spoke before Public Service CS Geoffrey Ruku who had been sent by President William Ruto to deliver relief food and non food items to victims of Tipis Fire incident.

The Lawmaker while lauding President Ruto for the continued support to the people on Njoro Constituency, appealed for an end to land injustices in the area.

She noted that titling has remained a challenge in Tipis area.

According to Kathambi, there is need for all residents of Tipis to get land title deeds.

This, she said will enable them to go on with their economic activities with much confidence.

“I want to urge our President to see to it that my people of Tipis have title deeds. They have continued to remain behind due to fear as majority have no title deeds,” she stated.

Kathambi also used the moment to call on residents to maintain peace adding that it is the only way that will foster development.

The Lawmaker who is also a peace ambassador was categorical that she will continue to ensure unity of the communities living in Njoro Constituency.

She added that Njoro Constituency has had scars of violence hence she cannot allow any individual to mess the peace that is being witnessed.
