Njoro MP Charity Kathambi on Monday delivered Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki’s message of condolence to a family in Lare Ward of Njoro Constituency whose son was attacked and killed by stray hyenas from Lake Nakuru National Park Naishi.

Besides the message of condolence, MP Kathambi also delivered DP’s financial support to the family.
Ms Peris Mwangi lost her 14 year old son through the incident that happened some weeks ago.
“We Delivered message of condolences and Support on Behalf of HE Hon Kithure Kindiki The Deputy President in lare ward to Mama Peris Mwangi, Whose 14 year old boy was killed by a hyena,” stated Kathambi.

The Lawmaker also made a request to KWS to compensate the family and many families affected in njoro Constituency by Wild animals from Lake Nakuru National Park.
It will be recalled that on Friday last week during empowerment program launch in Njoro, Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki vowed to support the family.
The DP also ordered that a directive issued by government on ending human-wildlife conflicts be implemented fully by KWS to avert similar incidents.
Njoro, Nakuru Town East and Nakuru Town West Constituencies are among those that have had numerous human wildlife conflicts especially areas that border the park.
