Njoro Member of Parliament Charity Kathambi has embarked on transforming livelihoods through water projects.
The projects entails drilling of boreholes in various wards and equiping them.
Some of the areas include Kamwaura water project, in Njoro ward, Tuiyotich Emma water project, Amani solar water project in Nessuit ward.
The Solar Water project in Kianjoya supplies water to hundreds of households, Kianjoya primary school, Secondary school , Kianjoya trading centre and its environs free of charge.
According to Kathambi, the Projects are in line with what she had promised during campaigns.
“We want to see improved livelihoods through transforming Promises into Progress,” she said.
She added that the projects will go on in all the 6 wards.
In Ndeffo, locals are a happy lot following the establishment of Ndeffo Water Project.
This project will go along way in solving the water shortage problem in this area.
