The Jubilee Party will front former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i for 2027 Presidential bid.
The Jubilee Party on Tuesday officially unveiled Dr. Fred Matiang’i fondly known as Mr. Fix It, as Party’s Presidential candidate.
During a past interview with Citizen TV, Dr Matiang’i stated that he was still consulting which party he will use in his Presidential bid.
However, Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama who is a close ally of Matiang’i had hinted that Jubilee Party might settle for Matiang’i.
True to Arama’s words, the party has settled for Matiang’i.
It is a move that has been welcomed by MP Arama terming it bold and timely.
Arama who was elected on Jubilee Party in 2022, said he supports the decision taken by Party.
“As a Jubilee Member of Parliament from a cosmopolitan constituency, I fully support this bold and timely decision,” he said.
Arama has called on Kenyans to embrace peace, unity and dialogue and work together to fix and transform this great nation.
