MP Arama lauds Catholic Church’s contribution in Education sector

Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama has lauded the Catholic Church for the role played in education sector.

Arama says the church has continued to complement government’s efforts in the sector through various sponsored schools.

Speaking during a Sunday mass at Holy Cross Church in Nakuru West, the Lawmaker said such initiatives in the education sector go a long way in ensuring quality Education for all.

Arama assured the church of his commitment in Education.

“When it comes to matters Education, I can assure you that my office will do all that pertains in ensuring that all learners are in school,” he said.

Arama was accompanied by Governor Susan’s political advisor Francis Njoroge, Youth and Sports CECM Josephine Atieno and County Attorney Mr. Nyamwange.

The MP reaffirmed his commitment in serving the people of Nakuru Town West, emphasizing that no student should be sent home nor their certificate retained by school heads because of school fees arrears.

During the mass, Governor Susan Kihika through representatives gave an instant consent for a waiver as the church was mourning one of their own, straining with the ward and mortuary bills.

Through CEC Josephine, Governor Kihika ordered for instant waiver which was a reprieve to the family and church.

During the Mass, the MP led a mini fundraiser towards supporting the church.
