MP Arama faults move to do away with NG-CDF bursary, terms move harmful to education sector

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samwel Arama has told off individuals who have been pushing through courts to have NG-CDF bursary removed from NG-CDF kitty.
The MP says the move will leave many learners to suffer.
Speaking during the issuance of bursary cheques for Boarding schools, Arama was categorical that individuals behind the move are ill advised.
“People have fought so hard to see that bursary is removed from NG-CDF kitty. But what they don’t know is that we are creating more problems by doing so,” he said.
He reiterated that bursary is not for MPs but to help students.

The Lawmaker was categorical that needy students from humble background have continued to benefit from bursary.

He was quick to point out that if bursary can be removed from NG-CDF kitty, then the government should think of making secondary education free for all learners.
