Meet Nakuru County Top 2017 KCPE candidates

Sharon Muthoni and Gathoni Macharia both of St. Peters Academy in Gilgil, Nakuru County were the top candidates in the recently released KCPE results.

The two girls led a pack of other Nakuru candidates who shone in the 2017 KCPE exams putting Nakuru County on the map in Education prowess.

Some of the other candidates who scored highly in the 2017 KCPE are listed below.

The overall top student was Goldalyn Kadiya of St Anne Junior Lubao in Kakamega County. She scored a high of 455 marks out of the possible 500 marks.

Nakuru County Senator Hon. Susan Kihika has passed her congratulatory message to Goldalyn who beat all odds to emerge top. Goldalyn who has a skin disability received special mention from the senator who also congratulated five other candidates with disabilities who were among the top 100. Senator Kihika wrote.

Special congratulations go to the six special needs candidates who were among the top 100 in KCPE.

This is no mean achievement and its proof that no physical condition can prevent a determined person from achieving their dreams.

Special thanks to Miss Goldalyn Kadiya who was the top candidate countrywide.

Thanks Goldalyn for proving that “The human spirit is one of ability, perseverance and courage that no disability can steal away.”

Senator Susan Kihika has also congratulated the two top girls who topped in Nakuru County saying that their victory is proof that women too can achieve when they stay focused.

“As Nakuru County we are very proud of Sharon Muthoni and Gathoni Macharia for emerging the top students in KCPE in Nakuru County.

The two have shown that girls can achieve what they put their minds on and they are a real inspiration to other girls.
