MCA Repha Chirchir is a leader in the County Assembly of Baringo who has shown great passion in advocating for the rights of women, girls and youth in general.
She was nominated to the County Assembly of Baringo on United Democratic Alliance(UDA) as a top up of women leadership.

Famousnakuru.co.ke met her on Wednesday December 17, 2025 in her residential home in Lembus Perkerra Ward in Eldama Ravine Constituency during a charity event.
In an interview, MCA Repha affirmed her stand when it comes to matters women, girls and youth rights.
She stated that, this has been at the bottom of her heart in all her undertakings.
“I have always been in the forefront when it comes to rights of women, girls and youth and that’s why even today’s event has been successful because I supported fully,” she said.
She has partnered with various organizations among them Oasis for the Vulnerable Group Organization to offer mentorship to youth and also matters menstrual hygiene management for teenage girls.
According to MCA Repha, young people have great potential and they just need someone to hold them a hand and give direction.
She pointed out that in Kabimoi area, initiatives and collaboration have seen drugs and substance abuse as well as alcoholism has reduced.
In addition, she has been able to purchase soccer balls for youth in the area, and they are now engaging in friendly matches that keep them busy.
She also started Sagat Grannies football team which has at least 40 practicing and playing.
“It is for their healthy, they said after going to the field many ailments have disappeared, aching knees, back pains are now a thing in the past, I bought a ball for them n am glad they are doing well,” she said.
The MCA pointed out that she has plans moving forward to engage learners in talks and mentorship especially during holidays.
These, she says aims to keep them out of bad behavior and ensure moral fabric of society is safeguarded.
“I’m trying to ensure our youth are engaged in constructive activities. We don’t want them to be idle, for that is where the problem starts,” she said

While noting that society has several vulnerable groups, MCA Repha states that charity work helps address some of the challenges such as lack of sanitary pads as well as mobility assistive devices.
And as Festive season knocks the door, the MCA wished Kenyans great festivity full of love sharing.
She however appealed on all road users to ensure they adhere to the traffic rules to avert accidents.
