MCA Sakwa’s intervention at South Cemetery to save mourners from shame of relieving in the bush

Nakuru South Cemetery’s menace of lack of toilets will be a thing of past following intervention by area MCA Neto Sakwa through his oversight role.

The facility that serves as final resting place for many, has for several years been facing a menace due to lack of toilets.

The old public toilets at one corner of the cemetery were declared unfit for use as per public health regulations.

The poor state at the cemetery has seen mourners who attend burial of their loved ones suffer whenever they want to relieve themselves.

Those fully pressed are forced to relieve themselves in the neighbouring bushes.

The menace saw a number of locals moreso women raise complaints to the area MCA Neto Sakwa.

His intervention, will see construction of modern toilet at the cemetery.

This was revealed by MCA’s Personal Assistant Charles Okumu.
