5 Nakuru residents to be feted on Mashujaa Day – County Commissioner Mbui

Five individuals in Nakuru will be honored as heroes and heroines at Mashujaa Day County celebrations to be held on Tuesday at Davison Primary School in Kihingo, Njoro Sub County.

The five are from various sectors and who have done tremendous work in making society a better place

Nakuru County Commissioner Erastus Mbui who addressed media in Nakuru town said all preparations are in Place in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines.

Mbui added that the administrators are working closely with the security team to ensure all COVID-19 protocols are observed during the celebrations.

“We have a total of 5 people whom we shall be honoring during the county celebrations at Davison Primary School in Kihingo, Njoro Sub County” said Mbui.

It should be noted that the Kisii County will host the national 11th Mashujaa Day celebrations to be presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta at Gusii stadium.

Kisii County is privileged to host the seventh Mashujaa Day celebrations after Mombasa, Nakuru, Machakos, Narok, Kakamega, Nyeri and Meru.

However, only 3000 people will be allowed into the Gusii Stadium while 8000 will be watching the celebrations at Kisii Golf Course on big mounted screens.
