Lee slams at those opposed to Kihika’s appointment in presidential campaign team

Former National Transport and Safety Authority chairman Lee Kinyanjui has slammed at those opposed to the appointment of Nakuru speaker Susan Kihika as one of those to spearhead Presidential campaign.

Addressing media at the former TNA offfices in Nakuru on Friday morning,Kinyanjui said the President appointed Susana Kihika coinciding with the will of the Nakuru people to have one of their own in the Presidential campaign team.

“Those going in media to give statements against the appointment of Susan Kihika are just not serious.The President made the appointment and it coincided with the people of Nakuru’s will to have one of their own so let us support her” he said.

Kinyanjui also urged Nakuru county residents to support Susan Kihika in her responsibilty of ensuring Jubilee administration receives power after 2017 elections.

The Nakuru Gubernatorial aspirant said the Jubilee party is at it at ensuring that the Country is united adding that the doors are opened for those willing to join the party.

“Jubilee is a party that has shown an interest in uniting Kenyans and we appeal to everyone to join the party as the dorrs are open even to our brothers and sisters from the opposition”he said.

On her part,Susan Kihika assured Nakuru county residents that the Jubilee Nominations will be free and fair and that no one should worry.

Kihika who has announced to vie for the Nakuru Senatorial seat also assured all aspirants of Jubilee Party in Nakuru that the nominations will be free and fair.

“As the President said,let me also reiterate that the nominations will be free and fair and therefore no one should worry about that.Let us also ensure peaceful campaigns as a team”she said.

This new development comes barely a day after the Nakuru council of elders said they support the campaign list but suggested that it be expanded to include some other Nakuru politicians including Governor Kinuthia Mbugua.
