Nakuru-based High Court Advocate Bernhard Kipkoech Ng’etich has lauded the outgoing Law Society of Kenya Council for the leadership shown.
He says the outgoing Council has run the society as a corporate well, resolving internal disputes amicably.

“The outgoing LSK Council has run the society as a corporate well. Internal disputes resolved amicably.Public interest ligation pushed to the next level. I give them their flowers,” he said.
He added that more is needed in the next council especially on matters practice.
According to Ng’etich, more efficient and effective courts, tribunals, registries and administrative bodies are needed, owing to the fact that cases have stalled.
He also took the moment to wishes All the to those contesting in the next lot of leadership.
“All the best to Vincent Munyaga Githaiga, Mwaura Wakabata, Manwa Hosea, Peter Wanyama and Charles Kanjama SC who are running for the Presidency. LSK needs a team leader. A person with moxie and tenacity. A wo/man of integrity. A dictator will go down with the society, ” he said.
The senior Lawyer also called for the need for a pragmatic vice president terming the position as a fulcrum.
“Best of success Debra Ajwang,Tess and Elizabeth. Strategic and modest council members fuel a progressive society. Muthoni Gachara, Adhiambo and many others have shown interest. Best of success,” he stated.
He opined that members prefer an opposition leaning candidate or one perceived to be out of the government control axis and networks.
According to Ng’etich, a government friendly president or one perceived to be sponsored or connected to the ruling class is detested and shunned.
“With the national elections around the corner, the government and Opposition have a huge interest in this election much like LSK members. Long live LSK and advocates, long live Kenya,” he concluded.
