The residents who held peaceful demonstrations noted that a section of leaders in the country are on a mission to disrupt the peace being witnessed.

According to them, such destruction is aimed at derailing development.

This even as the residents drummed support for President William Ruto, adding that he should be given second term to finalize the projects started.

They vowed not to allow any tribal politics in Kuresoi North- a Constituency they say is peaceful and that different communities coexist.

“We will not allow tribal politics aimed at dividing us yet we have lived well with all the communities,” they said.

Meanwhile, the residents assured their area Member of Parliament Alfred Mutai that they will vote him in for a second term owing to his agenda of transforming the Constituency.

On matters young people and development, the constituents appealed to youth to shun those inciting them to destroy institutions and property, but use their innovative skills to better their lives.
