Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has sounded a Stern warning to persons involved in distribution of food to vulnerable groups to ensure prudence.
Addressing media in Nakuru on Wednesday, Kinyanjui stayed that food for poor must be channeled to the intended persons.
He added that those who will be found contravening the guidelines with essense to make profit will be dealt with.
“I am warning all persons involved in the distribution of food to vulnerable to ensure the food reaches intended persons.Any diversions will be dealt with in accordance with applicable laws” said Kinyanjui.
The county boss also calling on members of the public to be vigilant and report any act of impunity or misuse of county resources.
He assured that an in depth audit of Al resources used in the exercise will be conducted as soon as COVID-19 pandemic is over.
